Why I make a great childcarer
I am currently working in a primary as a Inclusion Teaching Assistant, this role requires me to work with children from Reception to Year 6 who have various special needs. With this job you need patience, enthusiasum and you need to be motivated. I have been doing this job for 4 years and i find it really rewarding. I previously worked in a nursery so I have plenty of experience with children. I also at uni completing a foundation degree in Special Needs and then hope to go on to do teacher training. I am a fun and caring person. I enjoy doing practical things with children e.g. painting, cooking, playing games etc. I would be happy to help with homework and do reading with the child. I occasionally look after a family member who is a full time wheelchair user so have experience on doing physio. I would be more than comfortable to look after a children in a wheelchair. I am currently living in battersea and working in wandsworth, but would be willing to travel.
