Why I make a great childcarer

Hi, I’m Leah 19 and from Hereford. I’ve had a great time in the child care industry so far. I’ve had some amazing experiences and great opportunities which have allowed me to realise that my future is in the child care sector and it’s made me realise that my passion and interest is with children. I have real interest to grow and experience more in the care sector. Child care allows me to have great experiences, lots of fun and different opportunities, at the same time allowing me to be a big part of a child’s life helping and watching them grow and develop. My Experience. While completing my child care course at college I completed 4 placements with different aged children. First I did a placement in a local nursery in two different rooms. The first room Rainbows were I worked with children aged 2-4 years and then their baby room. I then completed a placement in two different primary schools where I worked in a year 1 class and a year 2 class. I also then went away to Greece in the summer for just over 2 months with a holiday company Mark Warner where I was a nanny. Here I got the opportunity to work with children from varies age groups.
