Job description

We are looking for a loving, enthusiastic, experienced nanny for our two children aged 4.5 and nearly 2. Our lovely nanny is going on maternity leave and we are hoping for someone to be part of our family! The job is commencing the week beginning Monday 27th August 2012 and the details are as follows: MONDAYS: Hours: 4pm - 10pm Duties: Collecting one child from the local school (he is starting in September 2012) and the other from nursery. Preparing diner, bathing them and putting them to bed. TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS: Hours: 8am-6pm Duties: Dropping off and collecting the older child from school and staying with the younger one all day. There will also be the opportunity for extra work at nights and weekends (when available). Our expectations are that the successful nanny would be experienced in child safety, food preparation, nappy changing, sleep and settling routines, entertaining and teaching young children. We expect our nanny to be punctual, happy to clean up after the children (dishes, play areas, folding clothes etc) and interested in engaging them in their interests. We are more than happy for the successful candidate to go on outings with the children. We would prefer someone who is a non-smoker, with references and a Police Check/Working with Children certificate.
