We know that hiring a nanny or babysitter can be a stressful and sometimes daunting process especially it is the first time you are employing a carer for your children. So we have created some advice pages to help you through the process.

What is Findababysitter.com?

We are an online search site enabling parents to find professional, flexible childcare solutions quickly and easily - putting an end to unnecessarily high childcare costs. 

As we are not an agency we do not meet every childcare professional that registers with us, but we do give you as much advice as possible to ensure that the hiring process is as safe for you and the childcare that you choose is perfect for your needs.

What type of childcare do I need?

Deciding on the type of childcare that you need can be a confusing process for parents.  Do you need a Nanny, Babysitter, Au Pair, Mother’s Help or Childminder? Do you want them to live in or out? Do you need an Ofsted registered professional? We have many types of childcare on Findababysitter.com but if you like many parents have no idea where to start take a look at our guide before you search and find the perfect childcare professional to meet your needs.

How do I register on Findababysitter.com?

It’s simple and free to do and you can register here.  Sign up to receive our newsletter packed with advice, news and offers.

How do I post a job?

Once you have registered you will be asked to post a job.  If you do not complete they job description at this stage you can go back at any time and add your job for free.  Posting a job allows you to specify your requirements and will increase your chances of childcare professionals applying for your position.  Not sure what to write in the job description – see our advice on how to write a job description.

Your job will be approved by us and live within 24 hours.  Your job will then be listed in our ‘Find Childcare’ section and candidates can apply.

Can I post more than one job?

You can post up to two jobs. Your job(s) will be approved by us and live within 24 hours.  Your job will then be listed in our ‘Find Childcare’ section and candidates can apply.

How do I find childcare professionals in my area?

Applicants will respond to your job posting but there is nothing to stop you proactively searching for childcare.  We have over 100,000 childcare professionals in the UK.  You can enter your postcode and search by area and filter by type of childcare, languages, qualifications and availability.  Once you have found suitable candidates for your job you can invite them to interview.

To contact candidates or reply to their messages you will need to upgrade your subscription.

How much does it cost?

It is free to register and search for childcare professionals on Findababysitter.com but once you have found candidates you will need to upgrade your subscription.

Packages are priced at as little as 27p per day and all include up to two job posts and unlimited access to contact and interview as many childcare professionals as you like.
